Waikiki Banyan is a very popular resort for families who want extra room, privacy and great comfort; which can be easily found here, only two blocks walk away from the beach. As you enter the lobby, you will be welcomed by the waterfall, surrounded by pictures of Hawaii throughout the ages.
There are also private “Vacation Rental” units available here, all featuring full kitchens, a furnished living area, and a bedroom. It is designed and furnished with families in mind, and even has a miniature playground on site for children to play. There is also a large recreational deck with 2 hot tubs, a swimming pool, a sauna, basketball and tennis ball courts as well as an area for barbecues and picnics.
You will be only one block away from the world famous Waikiki Beach, with plenty of sun, sand and surf, and only two blocks walk from Honolulu Zoo, as well as being situated right on the local bus line making for extremely easy and fast access to public transport connecting you to the rest of the island. Because of its popularity with tourists you should book ahead of time.
